New Snell SA2025 for the 2026 racing season

The Snell foundation is releasing a new helmet safety standard every 5 years and the latest SA2025 was released in October 2025 for racing season 2026. The new SA2025 standard requires helmets to withstand impacts at higher speeds while keeping peak G-forces lower. Simpson & Racequip both have helmets developed and tested with the new Snell SA2025 safety specifications. Please keep in mind that according to Snell’s guidelines a helmet should be replaced every 5 years, as the performance of some materials may deteriorate with age.
